Tell us a little about yourself and how you became a professional makeup artist.
I am a mom to three, I live in pure blissful chaos. I love dogs, the bigger the better. I have a sweet tooth and I am teetotal.
How long have you been working in the wedding industry?
9 years
How would you describe your signature bridal style?
My aim for my brides is for them to feel induvial the best version of themselves. I would describe my style as, neutral and timeless.
What do you love most about working with brides on their wedding day?
I love to see the full look come together with the dress, the accessories and to see your brides’ vision come to live.
💍 Bridal Beauty Philosophy
What’s your approach to creating a bridal look that feels timeless but still personal?
Keeping the makeup tones neutral will keep the look timeless. Ensuring make up is blended no harsh lines, keeping contours soft well blended will also ensure this.
How do you help brides who say, “I don’t usually wear much makeup”?
That is fine. We can still create a natural look and ensure you feel like yourself just elevated.
What’s your advice for choosing between a natural look and a more glamorous style?
If you wanted super natural look or full glam, as long as you feel the best version of yourself what style you decide is yours to decide.
How do you ensure makeup lasts all day – from ceremony to dance floor?
Good skin preparation is key on the day and the buildup to your wedding day. The better your skin is, the better your make up will last. I strongly advise getting into skin care routine before the big day, potential some skin treatments. This is something I am so passionate about and willing to advise.
On the day the key for the make up is to be layered lighter set in place to ensure it lasts from the happy to tears, to dancing the night away.
📍 Working at Our Wedding Venue
What do you love about working at our venue?
Paul and Sara are super helpful. The area to get ready at is super a wonderful space and bonus we can access the room from 8am which is early compared to other venues.
Do you tailor bridal looks to complement certain venue styles (elegant ballroom, rustic barn, outdoor ceremony, etc.)?
No, not as such.
What should brides consider about lighting and photography when planning their makeup at our venue?
I don’t believe your make up needs to be heavy for photographs. You want your make up to photograph well obviously, but how you look in photos can depend on photographers editing style. For example if they naturally edit photos lighter and you want to look bronzed then maybe need a little more than you would typically go for. For me I like to focus on how it looks in real life too.
👰 Wedding Morning Experience
What can brides expect when they book you for their big day?
Clear communication; my peeve is poor communication, so this is something I pride myself on.
How do you help create a calm, enjoyable atmosphere on the wedding morning?
I take great pride in having a calm relaxing morning for my brides. I give my brides a rough schedule so they have an idea how the morning will flow. Always allowing buffering time. I work with several amazing hair stylists who I know work similar to myself.
How long should brides allow for their makeup on the day?
One hour.
Do you recommend a trial? What happens during one?
I strongly recommend a trial. What to expect is me asking a lot of questions. About the whole day, from theme, colours, flowers, I want to know everything. Of course chatting though make up skin care so much more. I will create a look you have said you like after getting to know what that is from photos I will pull this apart, asking is it the skin brows is it this you like is it that. By doing this gives me a greater understanding of what you like. What you think you want. I say think because it’s ok to change your mind.

When should brides book their makeup artist?
My diary is open till 2028. My advise for any of your suppliers is once you know who you want, if there diary is open, secure your date.
What’s one common bridal beauty mistake you help your clients avoid?
Looking at images that are AI. Look at artists social media of real life brides for inspo. Look at women with similar hair colour, skin toke to yourself. Also sorry this isn’t one wear a white top to your bridal trial.
Any must-have products you always carry in your kit?
Duo eye lash glue, urban decay setting spray and finally iso clean hygiene products to keep my kit super clean.
💬 Personal Touch
What’s been your most memorable wedding moment?
Years ago somehow a bride of mine got lipstick on her dress. To this day I don’t fully get how. It was super low down but with some clear alcohol we got It out the dress. When girls came running to me saying it was on the dress I was like how would you catch lips on dress that low. It all turned out fine in the end.
What trends are you loving right now for bridal makeup?
Loving the soft fox wing liner look.
What makes a bride feel her most confident, in your opinion?
Good healthy glowing skin.
